Challenging stereotypes in schools

Approach and Awards
The award programme promotes and encourages a whole-school approach to challenging stereotypes. Tiered progression levels put gender equality at the heart of policy and practice, recognising those striving to ensure there are no limits on young people reaching their full potential.

Getting started
Becoming a Gender Action school isn’t about ticking boxes and jumping through hoops. Before registering, we recommend you take a few moments to read these details to make sure that your school is in the best possible position to begin its journey to challenge gender bias.
