Calling all teachers and educators, if you are looking to enhance your careers related learning in school, you’re invited to attend KidZania’s World of Work Showcase evening. A free 3-hour event showcasing experience-based careers learning.

KidZania aims to raise aspiration and ambition by encouraging children aged 4-14 to explore the world of work and opportunities for their future. Our careers-related activities are hands on and designed to develop life skills and link school curriculum from KS1- KS3.

The event is Supported by the Mayor’s London Curriculum programme, who’s shared aim is to ignite a love of learning in children using real life employers and London as inspiration to bring the National Curriculum to life.

What’s happening?

We will be showcasing exciting KidZania activities, giving teachers first-hand experience of practice within job roles available to pupils on an educational visit; especially covering careers in media & communication and STEM industries.

You will experience the launch of new career exploration workshops covering:

. Careers in Public Services

. Careers in Hospitality & Retail

. Careers in Entertainment and other engaging careers learning resources.

The London Curriculum uses the capital as inspiration to bring the National Curriculum to life at key stages 2 and 3. The programme offers free teaching resources and exciting educational activities for students. The most recent suite of resources are the world of work trails for families to enjoy around London; exploring jobs from the past and discover the work people do today.

Come along and try out practical and engaging activities, chat to the team and network while enjoying drinks and nibbles!

The event will take place at KidZania, Westfield Shepherd’s Bush W12 7GA.
