Professional development workshop: Personal Practice to challenge gender stereotypes

This workshop will be at Institute of Physics at 37 Caledonian Road, London, N1 9BU. This is very close to King’s Cross station; so easily reachable by train, tube or bus.

Refreshments: Yes – tea, coffee, cake.

Speaking with many of you over the last few months, there has been widespread interest in a dedicated session on biases and the effect they have in our schools, nurseries and classrooms.

We’ll cover topics such as:

-        Societal biases and how they affect our teaching practice and professional relationships

-        Gender and language

-        Reflections on cultural awareness

-        Practical tips for the classroom and wider setting

This workshop is open to teachers and practitioners from any of our Supporter schools and nurseries in the Greater London Authority area.
